Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate posting of journal entries. Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements. Prepare tax filings and assist with audits (internal and external). Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, as needed. Monitor financial transactions and reports for accuracy and completeness. Provide financial data and support to management for strategic decisions. Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license preferred or in progress. 2+ years of accounting experience (entry-level positions may require less). Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
