About the Role As an API Integration Engineer, you’ll own the integration layer that connects our platform with a wide range of external systems (e.g., identity providers, cloud services, security tools). Your work will make our GRC platform the true “hub” it’s designed to be. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement RESTful APIs to integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, AWS, Okta, Jira) • Maintain and document API endpoints for internal and external consumption • Develop middleware services for secure data exchange and transformation • Collaborate with product and backend teams to align integrations with user workflows • Implement API security best practices (rate limiting, token handling, logging)
Requirements • 3+ years of experience in backend/API engineering • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI) • Hands-on experience integrating with SaaS platforms (Microsoft Graph API, Atlassian APIs, AWS, etc.) • Proficiency in Java or Node.js (or similar backend languages) • Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and secure API protocols Bonus Skills • Experience with workflow engines or compliance automation tools • Knowledge of ISO 27001/SOC 2 requirements from a systems integration POV • Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Webhooks, etc.) Location: Kolkata, Pune, India
